ITEM # 041611
A stunning circa 1920's Art Deco chomolithograph, of an oil painting from Francois Laubnitz. .
Fr. Laubnitz was actually a pseudonym, and the painter's real name was Ernst Max Pietschmann. He was German not French, and he painted in the early 20th century. This work was his paean to the glory of motherhood.
This is an amazing chromolithograph on board, framed within a period ornate gold gilt wooden frame.
Chromolithograph measures 30" by 14", frame measures 33 1/3" by 16 3/4".
Condition is Very Good antique with typical wear to the frame due to age and handling. No missing wood, typical abrasions around corners as to be expected. I see no issues with the chromolithograph or the glass.
Will be professionally wrapped, tracked, and insured through UPS.
